Here are five paintings I am donating to the Pewaukee Area Arts Council for their Masterpiece Miniatures Project. These paintings will be on display and for sale at various events. They are only 4x4inch paintings. I enjoyed painting small like this so much that I ordered a dozen more 4x4 mini canvases.

Tuesday, March 27, 2018. White Mums on Teal and Lavender. Chrysanthemums from the grocery store, available just before the spring flowers are out in my yard. I set up the still life with a bright overhead light and threw the background into shadow for strong contrast. I like the purple shadows on the tabletop and in the flowers. I also like contrast between the tight and loose edges in the flower petals.
